Dr. Robert Pugach and the staff of Pacific Coast Urology Medical Center celebrated Marci’s graduation from her medical assistant back office training with a surprise party.
Marci didn’t know her mother, husband and three children were in on the surprise as they joined Dr. Pugach and the staff at a local restaurant to congratulate her.
Marci joined Pacific Coast Urology Medical Center in 2007. After 7 years in the Front Office and providing excellent front office patient service, Marci transitioned to a back office nursing/medical assistant role. To further her education and training in nursing responsibilities she enrolled in a medical back office training program.
“As always the best part of working at Pacific Coast Urology is our patients,” says Marci. “It is so fulfilling to help our patients address their urological concerns and improve their quality of life.”
Marci recently was selected to work directly with our prostate cancer patients as the HIFU Patient Coordinator. In this role Marci works directly with Dr. Pugach and the nursing and support staff at HIFU Prostate Services to ensure our HIFU patients are taken care of during their prostate cancer treatment and after care. Marci also assists our Spanish speaking patient as she is fluent in Spanish.
